Orchard Planting Done!

I took advantage of some amazing mid-March weather to finish the planting of the "3rd try orchard".

I set up some trailcams to monitor how well the electric fence is working to keep the deer out.  They also monitored me.
But I got the trees in the ground before the rain this weekend.  Almost 2" are predicted.
This is the layout.  There are two empty spots (for now).  And there are two trees remaining from my try 6 or 8 years ago.  Those two trees are in poor shape and are unlikely to survive (severely buck rubbed).  They have both produced a little bit of fruit.
Here's some shots of deer having a learning experience.

I also got an early start on disking the pumpkin patch.
It will take a couple more passes.
I got this 1965 John Deere 1010 when I bought the farm.  I like to keep the disk on it rather than swapping out with the brush-hog on the Kubota.  The JD has been very reliable for about 20 years but in the last two years it has been a problem.  We had a guy help out with the troubleshooting and he found and fixed some electrical problems.  So far, so good.
I also had one camera that I had not checked since before Christmas.  It's caught up now.

This is a strange little spike buck.
And a few other bucks.

One-sided.
Does on the run.

Bobcats.

And some turkeys.
