Memorial Day Weekend Frolic

We were blessed with a visit from a couple of grandsons this weekend.  And one of them brought his own wheels.
But we also did a little bit of conventional Ranger touring too.
Ok, maybe not just a little bit.
The playset also got some activity.
 And Ranger rides.
 And some fishing.
 And sunsets.
I did manage to get another field planted in powerplant.  My Kubota is acting up now too.  I've got two tractors acting fuel starved.  One gas and one diesel.
Powerplant field from a week ago is up.
 Sunflowers looking good.
Eric and I snuck in some shooting.
My groups with the 6.5 were respectable not great this week.
Eric had an awesome 4 shot group with the 308 (bottom right).
We didn't just shoot off the bench.
About 160 yards off sticks.
This is my target from 160 - not great.
And some more Ranger rides.
Both varieties.
Checking cameras.
More minerals.
Short hike in the woods.
Checking clover and sunflowers.
Ok, another ride.
Our last cherry tree is producing a little fruit.
Looking like it will be a good apple crop this year.
Just one more ride.
Command central.
What's a picnic without bags.
Creigh came out with his two boys too.
Four boys and a two-seater. Here's a video of some of that action.  Mini Ranger ride

Here's some live action.   Swinging Video
More rides.

We had a brief rainstorm and didn't get to fish with Alex and Nate.
Checking out the barn machines instead.
We tried again the next morning.
And we flew the drone.  I hoped to follow the little Ranger but the driver kept looking up.  Drone following mini Ranger (sort of)
There were a few "fly-bys". Drone First Tour
Another drone view.  Drone Tour Two
More rides, more minerals.

I moved to the back seat with Tommy.

Eric's Driving 1

Eric's Driving 2
More tours.  The peanut gallery wants to go fast. "Go turbo Grandpa".
Meanwhile, it's almost fawn time.
Some critters can't wait.

Can you see the pileated woodpecker?
 Bucks adding antler every day.
An attempt at turkey hunting last week.  Lean year for me.
The problem that we have with gangs in the neighborhood.
