Poop of The Week - Breaking News

One of the many avid followers of this blog went out of her way to capture these photos and submit them for Poop of the Week recognition.
These fine specimens were encountered in Biscuit Basin in Yellowstone National Park.  In case you haven't figured it out, it is bison do-do with a dusting of snow on top.  Thanks Aunt Karen for contributing to Poop of the Week!

Winter Again For Awhile

It says 23F but it was more like 32.  Of course the wind was 15 mph so it felt cold.  Especially after 70's during the week.
Hi Dawn! This was last weekend.  54 at that time.
There were a few shots still on the cameras from last week.

The Bloomsky has been a little flakey.  No wind showing in the screenshot even though it was blowing about 10 mph.
There were a lot of high winds this week so I thought I'd see if registered anything over 10 mph.  Nope.  And the trend was awfully smooth for about 5 days.
When I go to data view, there are no values reported from 2/19 to 2/23.  Wonder why?
I've been a little worried that it wasn't staying vertical with one point of contact so I added another layer of support on the stake.  It is vertical and supported now.
I did some over-seeding of existing clover plots with more clover seed.  Hopefully it will fill in bare spots and keep it attractive.
I tried to spray the fruit trees with dormant oil.  My sprayer was useless.  I sort of got it done and then threw the sprayer in the trash.
Most of the bucks still seem to have antlers.  I haven't seen much of this guy since early in the season.
I had named him "Squid" because he had all these little tentacle tines.
Here's a picture of him from October before they all got broken off in fights.
 A few varmints this week.

And a few gobblers.

 Only one coyote.
 Mutant Jr.

 Here's one that has dropped.

Surprising number of bucks that haven't dropped yet.

 Still fighting.

Where were all these deer during the season?

 Dropped.
Mom with twins.  One is a button buck.
Little guys.

Mom with button.

Between now and turkey season is the slow time at the farm.  Nothing to hunt.  Nothing growing.
