Apples, Rain and the Eclipse

The Bloomsky weather station shows that 0.39" of rain fell on Thursday.  It has not been terribly reliable but, if anything, it's been reporting low lately.  So I'm optimistic that the food plots got the drink that they need.

The solar eclipse is going to occur on Monday.  We're a little too far north for totality.  This is a really good interactive map that shows you the extent and duration of the eclipse wherever you put the cursor.  Solar Eclipse Interactive Map

The apples harvested last week may have been ripe enough for the deer but they weren't quite ripe enough for me. I'll give them a couple more weeks.
