We were recruited to pick up a golden-doodle puppy named Zerbert at the breeder in Medinah, OH and deliver him to Virginia. It didn't take much convincing.
He was a very good boy and handled the car ride without issue.
He seemed very pleased to meet his new forever family.
Even the current dog of the household, Astrid, seemed pleased to have a new playmate.
He doesn't quite have the endurance yet to "run with the big dogs" but it won't be long.
He finds plenty of comfy places to snuggle.
We caught the tail end of apple picking season and visited an orchard. They had some primo pumpkins.
We picked a variety of apples.
Everybody helped.
And we had a picnic in the orchard.

Charlie worked on harvesting the garden at home.

I think that he will eventually get to enjoy the farm.
