I was in Lexington and Joan was in Mason so we met at the farm and drove on to VA from there. We were pretty excited to meet Lucy.
We had lots of excellent baby news this week. We also learned that Eric and Jeni will be having a boy - Jeni is due in August. And Kristen and Leo's daughter Kayla had successful surgery and I learned that she came home last night.
Spring was definitely popping in Va - it was 90 one day there. We saw all of the cherry blossoms. It's starting to pop at the farm. I had a quick look around on our return from VA. We stopped to pick up Joan's car.
The driveway stand field has something sprouting - hopefully it is the clover that I planted and not a mega-crop of weeds like I have had previously.
Van has been doing some chores. He's installing pigeon-proofing in the porch eaves. Hopefully this will solve the poop problem that we're fighting all the time.
He installed screens so that they can't get in there.
