Trailcams 9/7/14 - Two Weeks Worth

It's the time of year when we can start taking inventory of the deer herd via pictures under the apple trees.
 There were hundreds of pictures.
It's hard to tell how many of them are of the same buck.
There are several wide 8 point shooters for sure.
This is the only one that I found starting to shed it's velvet.  It is time for that.
The apples and pears are a big attraction.
 9 point.
 Chomping away.

This little guy has a cyst or tumor on his neck.  Nice buck behind him.

Not waiting for them to drop.

 Foggy night.

Changing from summer (orange) to winter (grey) coats.
 The growth again.

 Close up.
 Fawns are moving about.
 Turkeys and deer
 Turkey working on protein block.
 Fawn too.
 Twins.

The coyotes enjoy a fawn on occasion.  Seems to be some alarm from the does.
They also eat the apples and pears.

On the hunt.

I suspect that the turkeys are here for the grapes but maybe they eat the ripe fruit from the ground.
