Our daughter Amy made the trip from Virginia with Lucy and Charlie for a little social distancing with Grandma.
After a week in the house, we escaped to the farm for a change of scenery.
So Grandpa had lots of help for his Ranger rides.
The weather wasn't optimal but there were some signs of spring.
We now have 3 golden doodles in the house - and two of them are being a little feisty with each other.
Grandma did some baking.
While we were enjoying cake for dessert, the deer started working their way up towards our bird feeders.
More and more kept showing up - three, then five, then seven.
They were a little nervous about coming right up to the feeders.
But we watched them for quite a while.
It was a pretty good show.
They were really right there until...
Chloe figured out what was going on - notice the white tails up. They didn't take kindly to barking.
When I got up in the morning, the seed was all gone from the feeders.
But we had a nice sunrise. Cold though, only about 28F.
More Ranger rides.
And we got out the self drive model.
A little bit of hiking and searching for shed antlers.
Checking out under the rocks.
Any bears in there?
And, we got the dogs out for a walk.
Some did better than others (preserving old hips).
The trailcams weren't all too interesting this week.
The usual suspects.
Interesting poses.
A few 'yotes.
Fox.
It's time for the Tom turkeys to start warming up - no sign of it yet.
