Trailcams, Rubs and Scrapes

Dave and I sat in ladder stands during 40 degree rain on Saturday night.  Not much happening - a couple does were in the main field.  Things are staring to heat up for the rut based on all the sign but we didn't see much either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

This buck posed nicely near the valley stand.
It appears that he is a nice 10 point.
Look at al the "junk" that he has around his antler bases.
Somebody has been ripping up the pine trees - maybe the guy above but probably more than one buck based on the number of trees affected.

They have found the brassica!
They also found the pumpkins that were left out in the pumpkin patch.

Some areas had every tree in sight ripped up.

Dave noticed lots of field edge scrapes too.  This one is right beside the driveway stand.  I put an old camera on it so I might have some pictures next week (if the camera works).
Poop of the Week - this is a huge buck pile near a scrape.
Dave also noticed this tree - it's the persimmon that I had been looking for but couldn't find.  It is right by the driveway stand and the driveway.

Two button bucks.
